Trend Alert - Over the Knee boots

From the runways to magazines to celebrities - the Over the Knee Boots trend is just about everywhere lately. I love it because it's totally wearable and looks super hot.

Flat or heeled, leather or suede - this look can be worn in several ways. It can be worn over matching tights or skinny panyts for a more easy every day look. Or pair with a mini dress for a flash of skin.

Either way the look is hot and will be a staple in your fall/winter wardrobe.

Red Carpet Look

This was the most popular look at the Emmy's this year - a gorgeous red lip with simple eyes. Everyone from Drew Barrymore to Leighton Meester was wearing this look. It's classic and reminds me of old Hollywood. To make the look more glamorous, add a pair of lashes.

I don't like spending a lot of money on something if I don't have to. Ardell False lashes look beautiful on, come in lots of shapes, sizes and styles and they are a lot cheaper than "name brand" lashes. I wear Ardell lashes all the time. My favorites are 116 and 120. Other brand name lashes are great too but why spend double the price for the same thing?

L ‘ ETRANGE HISTOIRE DE BENJAMIN BUTTON

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button est un film américain réalisé par David Fincher, sorti le 4 février 2009 en France et le 25 décembre 2008 au Québec.
L'histoire se passe à La Nouvelle-Orléans et est adaptée de la nouvelle éponyme de F. Scott Fitzgerald. Le film marque la troisième collaboration entre David Fincher et Brad Pitt.

C'est ainsi que débute l'Étrange histoire de Benjamin Button, adaptée de l'histoire de F. Scott Fitzgerald en 1920, celle d'un homme qui nait vieillard et passe sa vie à rajeunir.

Alors que l'Ouragan Katrina frappe la Nouvelle-Orléans, Daisy Williams est sur son lit de mort, à l'hôpital. Sa fille, Caroline, est à ses côtés, et lit à la demande de Daisy un carnet racontant l'histoire de Benjamin Buttton.

Ce qui suit dévoile des moments clés de l’intrigue.

Né avec un aspect de vieillard et abandonné par son père biologique à la mort de sa mère, Benjamin est élevé par Queenie, une femme noire employée dans une maison de retraite. Daisy, alors enfant, le rencontre dans cette maison où sa grand mère est résidente. Alors qu'ils sont séparés par leur âge respectif, Daisy et Benjamin restent en contact tout au long de leur vie. Tandis que Daisy vieillit, Benjamin rajeunit, jusqu'à ce qu'au milieu de leurs deux vies ils se retrouvent et vivent une histoire d'amour. Caroline, en lisant l'histoire de Benjamin Button, apprend ainsi d'où elle vient.

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce film.

Leaving on a Jet plane.....to New York City!

I love New York even though I've never been....I know I love it. And by this time tomorrow, I'll know for sure. I leave tonight to go to New York for one week. I'm super excited. It's going to be amazing, totally inspirational and I might not want to come back.
