Justin Bobby for Smooth Co.

Anyone who knows me knows I am a HUGE fan of The Hills. I've been watching the show since the begining of the Laguna days. So when I had the chance to meet Justin Bobby last week at a fashion event...I was beyond excited.

A new clothing line called Smooth Co. http://www.thesmoothcompany.com/ launched here in Vancouver and Justin Bobby from The Hills is the face of the brand. The event was held at high end retailer Holt Renfrew. Lots of fashion people from Vancouver were there but I wasn't interested in seeing any of them. I was interested in seeing JB!

When we walked into the party, I saw him right away. I was a little surprised because he kinda looked like a scrub. He wasn't dressed very well and he looked really tired. I didn't go upto him until towards the end of the night. I was talking to one of my friends and I was looking around and then all of sudden I see him and he looks right at me. He gives me a huge smile and next thing I know I walk over to him and we're talking away. He was SUPER nice...totally not what I expected. He said he thought Vancouver was a beautiful city. He seemed totally chill and easy going. So Justin Bobby did not disappoint. I'm glad I got to meet him. And I even got a few pics with him.

ON EN REPARLE

Voici un sujet qui est à nouveau à l'honneur. Il s'agit de la tête maorie du musée d'histoire et de sciences naturelles de Rouen.
Restituer la tête maorie au gouvernement néo-zélandais qui souhaite l'inhumer dans sa terre d'origine. Cela fait déjà trois ans que Rouen s'est engagée dans ce débat.
Élus de toutes couleurs politiques (l'unanimité a toujours été réunie sur ce sujet au conseil municipal), nombreux Rouennais et scientifiques s'accordent sur ce dossier. Mais pour permettre le retour du guerrier maori, conservé depuis 1875 au muséum de Rouen, les parlementaires doivent voter une nouvelle loi.
En juin dernier, le Sénat adoptait à l'unanimité la proposition de loi déposée par Catherine Morin-Desailly permettant la restitution des têtes maories conservées dans les collections muséales françaises. Le 29 avril ce sera au tour de l'Assemblée Nationale de débattre sur ce sujet.

Je vous avais déjà parlé de Delphine, jeune femme expatriée aux Philippines débordante de talent, tant en création de meubles et objets divers qu'en peinture.

J'ai de ses nouvelles et tout se passe bien pour elle. Elle fait la couverture d'un grand magazine et parait dans plusieurs pages .

LE CALME REVIENT TOUJOURS APRES LA TEMPETE

C' est vrai ! après la tempête le calme revient toujours. Peut-être en laissant des traces, surtout lorsque l'eau a envahi les rues comme lors de ces dernières grandes marées.

This look was inspired from Lady Gaga's video Telephone. I did an everyday very wearable version of this look. You can always make it more dramatic for evening by smoking it out with some black eyeshadow.
