Moscow pledges no ‘reappraisal of values’ in relations with the US

Russia’s political course toward the US will remain unchanged, although one cannot be 100 percent sure that the relations between the two countries will always be flawless, Russia’s deputy foreign ministry Sergey Ryabkov said.

The diplomat added that remaining differences over missile defense could even jeopardize Russia`s participation in NATO summit in Chicago in May.

Now that Russians have elected their next president, the future of the Russian-US relations is again at the top of the international agenda. Major challenges in these relations were analyzed by Vladimir Putin in one of his articles published during the election campaign.
